The show made us experience such funny things which we couldn’t have even thought of in our wildest imagination. The entire runtime of the reality show from its premiere on July 17 2008 to its finale on September 4, 2008 was a never to forget experience for us. The show was a perfect stress buster for the tensed audiences. Also Michael Ian Black acted as a perfect host. Now I can’t even imagine any one else taking his position.

The main attraction of The Reality Bites was its concept of spoofing popular reality show. We saw 10 hilarious comedians performing 8 more hilarious tasks. The irony being that some of the tasks were believed to have no relevance for comedy. All the ten comedians performed tasks which were, Extreme Manipulation: house edition, Shock of Love, The biggest chubby, Almost American Gladiators, So You Think You Can Dive, Hunting With The Stars, The Amazing Disgrace and American Surv-idoler’s Kitchen. The names themselves depict the humour involved in the tasks. My favorite task was Shock of Love where competitors were to seduce foul mouthed comedian Luenell Campbell.

Finally Theo Vonkurnatowski won the title of ‘Lord Of All Reality.” But my favourite Amy Schumer stood the runner-up in Reality Bites Back. She’s still dominating the comedy world. She was also the finalist of NBC’s ‘Last Comic Standing’. She will be seen in an episode ‘Oh Behave’ that will air on Pet-life Radio, where she will disclose why she named her male cat as Penelope. It will surely be full of her wits. She will also be taping half hour special on Comedy Central Presents as a part of ‘New York Comedy Festival’. It will be a must watch for us.

Amy Schumer is representing ‘Normal’s team in Toshiba laptops Internet contest - ‘Boring vs. Normal’. It is being held by California based Toshiba company. The company chose 5 contestants in two teams to show people how everybody can put their company’s laptops to various uses.

These five ‘Normal’ contestants will be competing against ‘Boring’ team. The rock band “Lives of Famous Men” and “Ultimate Fighting Championship” star Jake O’Brien are her team members.

The opposing team comprises of Garrett Eisert, an eighteen year old punk rocker; Elizabeth Fournier, an undertaker lovingly called “green reaper”; Mike McGuire, a fifty seven year old volunteer firefighter; Amy Morrison, the lone feminine firefighter in Boring; Codi Sorenson, a fifteen year old promising documentary filmmaker; and Andy Welk, a de facto mayor of the unincorporated community. Both these teams have been given names of two distinct towns.

You can also take part in selecting a winner by voting in favor of one of the teams, online, before September 13^th. The results will be announced on 14^th September.

In the seventh episode, of the first season of ‘Reality Bites Back’, we saw Mo Mandel failing to reach the end of the war.

And, it was the season finale ‘American Surv-idoler’s Kitchen’ in which Amy Schumer and Theo Vonkurnatowski competed against each other. Theo Vonkurnatowski was announced as the winner and Amy Schumer ended as the runner up.

The two are now going to host a half-hour late-night project by Bunim-Murray named Frat House along with comedian Bret Ernst. The project which is loosely based on the 2003 comedy Old School by Will Ferrell will see the three hosts lead a band of guys. Each of them will be at a crossroad, and will be longing for the simpler, raucous days of life in a frat house.

Further, the host of Reality Bites Back, Michael Ian Black is to be soon seen on the big screen when his latest movie Young Americans will release later this year. It is not yet known what role Michael will be playing in the film or what the storyline of the film is although people speculate it to be based on the 1993 crime drama. But even before that the comedian was seen in a shot that was released on the internet in the later half of December 2008 which also featured Michael Showalter, and David Wain.

As there’s no information on second season of ‘Reality Bites Back’ , so today I’ll review the first season of series.

Before, I go into the depth of things to share with you guys, what we watched during the first season, let me first laugh heartily…. Ha ha haha a a. Would you not like to ask why I laughed so? Hey! Actually, I am very much impressed by the titles, they gave to the episodes. For example, ‘Big Mother’, and ‘Shock of Love’, and moreover…. ‘Hunting with the Stars’. What an imaginative concept and what a brilliant presentation… really, the only one of its type. Really, a fantastic bite of entertainment that impressed every viewer.

In the season opener, we see that all contestants move into a mansion where their every single step is being filmed. Their parents live with them for 4 consecutive days in the very same apartment. Second episode was entitled ‘Shock of Love’. It was a parody of ‘Rock of Love’. Here, we see that all the participants compete to win the heart of Comedian Luenell Campbell. I really, really liked this episode.

And, yeah… who the idiot can forget ‘Hunting with the stars’? In this parody of ‘Dancing with the Stars’, all contestants are paired with low profile celebrities. Yeah.. I also loved ‘The Amazing Disgrace’ and the season finale ‘American Surv-Idoler’s Kitchen’. In the first season of ‘Reality Bites Back’, Vonkurnatowski won the title and Amy Schumer emerges as the runner up.
