Become the Lord of All Reality on ‘Reality Bites Back’
The whole concept of Reality Bites Back tv show is to find out the lord of the reality, the one who is above all the comedians and to honor him/her with a prize of $50,000. It can be segregated like- 50 % sketch comedy and 50% actual reality.
This reality show did well during the first season with a total of eight episodes. Ten comedians, namely Kyle Cease, Chris Fairbanks, Jeffrey Garcia, Red Grant, Tiffany Haddish, Bert Kreischer, Mo Mandel, Donnell Rawlings, Amy Schumer, and Theo Vonkurnatowski, competed to win the title of ‘The Lord of All Reality’. When it was the very first episode, the one in which contestants’ parents moved in with them for four days, of the season, Jeffrey Garcia, left the show and the same episode also eliminated Kyle Cease from the competition.
In the second episode, we saw the contestants trying to seduce the foul-speaking Luenell Campbell, a comedian. And, here we saw Donnell Rawlings moving out of the competition. When Tiffany Haddish failed to put on a sufficient amount of weight, she had to say bye to the audience, in the third episode of the first season on ‘Reality Bites Back’. Red Grant didn’t make it up to the mark, when it was the time to go through a series of immigration themed physical challenges. Inability to get a good score in the diving competition held in the fifth episode of the season made Bert Kreischer to go out. Chris Fairbanks didn’t give a good performance when he was paired with a D-list celebrity and it was reason enough to show him the way out. In the seventh episode, of the first season of ‘Reality Bites Back’, we saw Mo Mandel failing to reach the end of the war.
And, it was the season finale ‘American Surv-idoler’s Kitchen’ in which Amy Schumer and Theo Vonkurnatowski competed against each other. Theo Vonkurnatowski was announced as the winner and Amy Schumer ended as the runner up.
Well, as of now, the future of the show is not certain. No official announcements have been made regarding the second season of Reality Bites Back, so no body knows whether it’d ever return or not.
